The room was clean, and the owner was quiet, kind, and efficient. The TV was excellent and large. I stayed one night at the Garni Sport and had a positive experience overall. Furnishings were simple and dated, but functional, with a very minimalist feel.

The location is ideal for all sorts of interests: Ticino food and wine, shopping, art, and culture are all within walking distance. GARNI SPORT is in the heart of the magnificent Mendrisio village, and the atmosphere is friendly. Willy and Teresa run the comfortable accommodation very well, with all the amenities, including TV, WiFi, phone, and hairdryer. Breakfast was delicious and served until 10:00. Rates are very fair. I highly recommend it, a great experience! 🤩

The waiters are so friendly and attentive, and the food comes out incredibly fast. My husband and I have tried everything on the menu at least once, as far as we can tell. We enjoy every visit, and it could easily become my new favorite. Works for a date, friends, or family ;-) .

Zero service. We emailed to ask specifically whether dogs were allowed, and they replied with the price. When we wrote again to book and ask about bringing our dog, there was no answer, so we called. The response was, “No, no, no dogs.” Terrible. But apparently the rats can stay!
