B&B perron13

Clean.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It's excellent value for money, and the old town is very close. You can hear the train station, but I found the noise tolerable.

We had a relaxed, enjoyable stay, thanks in part to the polite reception staff. They checked in with me about my late arrival the night before and took time to chat. The other guests were friendly and easy to talk to as well. Our room was clean, with plenty of hot water and good pressure in the bathroom, and a large window looking out toward the station. The house is a pretty light yellow, right beside the train station, about a two-minute walk away, so you see it as soon as you get off the train. Reception and the restaurant are on the first floor, with guest rooms upstairs and stairs to reach them. Breakfast is quite plentiful and included in the room price, which felt reasonable. The location is very convenient, much like other European B&Bs. Walk across the station and you're in the old town in about five minutes, with restaurants and supermarkets readily available.

The host family were very friendly and gave helpful tips for excursions. This is a lovely seven-room B&B beside Murten train station, though the windows are well insulated. Every room has a toilet and shower, a kettle, a hairdryer, and comfortable beds with real down pillows, no lumpy synthetic filling. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and regional, with homemade braided bread on Sundays. Thank you so much, we'd love to return!
