The prices are very competitive for such a central location. We didn’t try the restaurant, perhaps next time. The rooms were well kept and insulated by new windows, though the bathroom was a bit small. Its mechanical ventilation worked really well. There’s bike and ski storage with charging sockets, and you get into the rooms by stairs. Access is by badge. Check-in is at the hotel. You can load and unload your car right in front of the annex, and public parking costs 5 francs per day, as the booking already stated, so there were no surprises. It’s true that buildings next door are being renovated. What can they do, close for two years until the work is done? As long as there’s no noise, it’s fine.

I can’t recommend this property. Breakfast was included in our reservation and paid for, but there was no breakfast, and there’s no parking either. It’s noisy because the place is above the road. A lot of money seems to have gone into a crazy project, but the property was much nicer a few years ago. We had a terrible stay.

San Bernardino is a wonderful place, but the rooms are noisy, both from the street and because the walls are poorly soundproofed. I have to leave a negative review. As others have said, they could have spent the money improving the windows instead of just making everything look nice.
