Smart-HOTEL MINUSIO, a Swiss Quality Hotel

There was no air conditioning in the room even though it was 85 F in summer, and the room had mosquitoes and ants. I booked through expedia and would never have done so if I'd known. At 240+ Euros a night, this was not what I expected. I complained during the stay and afterward, but they saw no fault in it. Please stay away. Our friends found a nearby hotel with air conditioning for less. Update after the hotel's response, 7/12: My review is honest. They can't deny there was no AC in the rooms or that mosquitoes were a major problem. If I'd had any time between check-in, attending the wedding, and checking out, I wouldn't have hesitated to leave. I've travelled the world, and I find the hotel's response shameless for a hospitality business. Having three people in the room doesn't make it hotter, and it doesn't bring mosquitoes if there aren't any. The lack of AC is a fact. I complained in person at check-in, through the Expedia survey, and in person to Manuela at check-out. Returning the sunglasses I left in my room is basic hospitality. They should work on improving the stay and seriously consider these issues raised by a former guest instead of making weird accusations.
