Hôtel de la Rouvenaz

We had a simple, delicious breakfast, with the best bread ever. The staff were lovely, and our Lake View room looked across the road. This charming, eclectic hotel is very central, about 5 minutes from the station and right by the promenade. Highly recommended.

We’ll always remember La Rouvenaz Hotel as the place where we began married life. It felt romantic and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere, elegant decor, and a comfortable bed. Our room was cozy, spotless, and full of character, with thoughtful touches that made the honeymoon feel special. The hotel is on Rue du Marché, just steps from Lake Geneva and the promenade, so it was an easy base for exploring Montreux while still feeling intimate. Staff were genuinely kind and attentive, always smiling or ready with a helpful suggestion. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, just right before days of sightseeing and lakeside strolls. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel special. We can’t recommend it enough to couples, especially honeymooners, and truly hope to return one day.

The breakfast was ample, served in a cozy, clean, well-lit space, and the hotel was very clean too. You’re right across from the lake, so taking a stroll along the promenade is easy. The location is super, and the staff gave fantastic service. This was our second stay, and we’ll be back.

Reception was very kind. The location is good in Montreux, just a 3-minute walk to the train and bus station and the ship port. After 6 pm you need to check yourself in, but it’s very easy.
