The water park was fantastic, and I can see why families come here. But our experience was really affected by extra charges that weren't explained clearly. Our travel agent's booking papers didn't mention a cleaning fee. At checkout, we were asked to pay 120 CHF, roughly twice the cost in AUD, even though we'd been told to clean the apartment and strip the beds before leaving, which we did. We also had to make the beds ourselves when we arrived. That didn't bother us at first, but the large cleaning charge afterward felt unreasonable and misleading. When we asked about it, we were told Expedia clearly lists the fee. It wasn't in our travel agent's paperwork, and when we tried making a new booking directly through Expedia to check, we still couldn't find it clearly stated. We also asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, but it never came, so we bought our own. The radiators weren't effective either, and we had to buy firewood to stay warm on a -10°C night. I wish I could give this lovely village a glowing review because it has a lot going for it, but mandatory fees should be clearly shown when booking so guests can pay ahead of time.

We spent two lovely days at the resort for my son's birthday. The pool and facilities for kids were fantastic. I didn't sleep well either night because the bedding could use improvement, especially the pillows. Still, the service, crew, and facilities deserve five stars.

The room was spotless, and the accommodation felt welcoming, with soft beds and pillows. There was lots to keep us busy: we played plenty of pool and bowling, both really enjoyable, and tried the VR games. Pirate Cook was the funniest one for us. The aquapark had two thrilling slides, and families with kids should check out the huge trampoline area called the “Superdome”.

We stayed in a room in the main building, which made it easy to get to the entertainment for different ages and the wellness area. The mini karting for little ones was my favorite, especially since there are indoor and outdoor options. Tired parents, bring plenty of coins so you can enjoy a coffee in peace! We'd happily return for an easy weekend with our little one.
