Renika arranged a wonderful birthday surprise for my wife, with a delicious cake, lovely room decorations, and a sublime “Diamonds Forever” massage at the spa. Everything was so well organized and made our long weekend with family extra special. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We loved the spa and pool after skiing, and both breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations for quality and variety. The location was ideal for getting to the slopes on our family ski trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We highly recommend Bergwelt Grindelwald Alpine Design Resort and will definitely return.

We were very happy with the corner room upgrade. The room and view were amazing, and the staff were helpful and excellent. It’s central and convenient, but still quiet and peaceful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. My only suggestion is to add more vegan options to the dinner menu, since there was just one.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that we had no hot water in the bathroom for a few hours one night, and we were accidentally overcharged at checkout. Both issues were sorted out very quickly, and the staff handled them with great care. Otherwise, the hotel was amazing. The jacuzzi and sauna access for 90 minutes each day was a lifesaver. The view and location were phenomenal, breakfast was varied and well cooked, and our room felt very comfortable and safe.

The staff made us feel genuinely valued, and leaving was surprisingly emotional. We received a cute treat at checkout and such a warm send-off that I was in tears driving out of the parking lot. It was an unforgettable anniversary stay and a special memory. Thank you so much. We stayed a couple of days after our actual anniversary, but the hotel still congratulated us on the second day with a handwritten personalized card and sweet treats, delivered by two friendly staff members. We had a free upgrade to a luxury room with an Eiger view, which was stunning and cozy, with a breathtaking corner balcony view. It was spotless, and the minibar was restocked daily at no extra charge. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the vegetables, fruit, seeds, and nuts. The staff were attentive and friendly. One tall, dark-haired man, probably French, greeted us each morning and brought the best coffee. We didn’t get his name, and he wasn’t working on our last day when we wanted to thank him.
