Jungfrau Lodge, Annex Crystal

The bathroom was very tiny, and the shower head and water didn’t work well at alllllll. The service was the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The receptionist had a very bad attitude, especially the man with mustache. We were told the room supplies would be refilled, but we never got them.

The hotel was affordable and breakfast was included. The accommodations were good, and I’d recommend staying here in Grindelwald. The view was amazing, absolutely stunning. I always look out the window first when I arrive at a hotel, and this one really delivered. Check in at the main building across the street. If you’re arriving by train, it’s a short walk from the station. Take the train to the last stop, the small one in the town center, rather than getting off at the large Grindelwald Terminal.

The view from the room was stunning day and night. On a clear night, you can see the stars and even take a Milky Way photo from the balcony. The room had a North Europe style, was sparkling clean, and had a good size for this price range. The shower was great, with instant hot water and strong pressure. Nicole and Andres were kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. The railway station and supermarket are 5-8 minutes away, and the bus stop is just 20-30 steps away. I had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it!

Check in at the main building across the street. There’s no kettle in the room, so ask at reception if you need hot water. I definitely recommend this hotel.
