Pensione Novaggio

The new owners added La Rosa to the name to give the place a fresh look. It's now called La Rosa di Novaggio Pensione, and the rooms have a welcoming, colorful feel and a fresh scent that suits the name. It's well connected by public transport, and I'd recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing break.

I booked through Booking.com for CHF 79.–, then the hotel asked me to cancel. They said on the phone to email them and that they'd reply, but I never heard back. When I booked again, the price had gone up by CHF 20.–. A little later, I saw on Booking.com that it was actually CHF 49.– higher than the original price. I've never dealt with such unprofessional conduct before, and I won't book a hotel that does business this way. I'd rather pay more from the beginning and know who I'm dealing with.

The room and location were excellent. Thanks for your hospitality, you were very kind.

My husband and I came for a relaxing stay. The view from our clean room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic, fresh and homemade, with a great selection. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and relaxation. We'll definitely come back.
