Hotel Furka

We used this place as a base for four nights of hiking and biking, and the beds were awesome. The staff were all helpful and very nice. There are plenty of trains nearby, and it’s easy to get to Grimsel pass. The whole stay was well worth it. I’d gladly return to explore more of the area. Highly recommend.

We only stopped for lunch. The food wasn’t anything special, but the service was excellent. The waiter worked hard to find something suitable for my special diet and was very helpful. They really do put the customer first.

Claudio, the owner, was attentive and helpful, and the family hotel itself is friendly and recently renovated. The new rooms are lovely and cozy, right by the cross-country ski slopes. There’s a wide selection of local products at breakfast, and the same is true when you eat there in the evening. We’ll be back!

The owner really cared about every guest, and all the staff were so nice. We stayed for two nights and found the room beautiful, clean, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, especially the overnight oats, a healthy option that still tasted good. About a 10-minute walk from the hotel, there’s a beautiful playground by the river with its own little lake. My son loved it. At dinner time, we enjoyed a cup of apple juice on the lovely terrace, with my son, while the sun set behind the mountains. It was incredible. I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
