Amanthos Living Zürich Airport (Self Check In)

I was travelling solo and stayed one night at Amanthos Living. The apartment had a kitchenette, a comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi, and everything else I needed. It was clean and modern, and being so close to the airport was perfect. I’d stay again before an early flight.

Getting into the city was easy, and the place is also close to the airport. My apartment was modern, super clean, and had everything I needed. Check-in was simple, and the communication was quick and friendly. Really nice place, and I’d definitely stay again!

Free parking was a nice bonus. The building looks a bit scary from outside, but the room inside was clean, modern, comfortable, and didn't smell. The hallway did smell, though. There was no mold, but the bathroom has no vent, so I can see how some rooms might get moldy. The room has little vents that blow a bit of air, but it isn't really air-conditioned, so I wouldn't stay when it's above 75F outside. Planes were somewhat loud, but with the windows shut they didn't bother us overnight. Getting in is fully digital. You need to install an app and use Bluetooth, and there's no one to talk to if you need help. They sent the app details around 2:20pm, just 40 mins before check-in. Cooking supplies are limited: we had a pot and pan, no seasonings or oils, and a standard electric stove, not induction. The Coop and Migros are a 6 min walk away. Better than expected and convenient for one night before the airport!

The bedroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the place was clean, though there was a faint cigarette smell. Entry instructions for the apartment were clear. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, and microwave, but the coffee machine seems to be broken.
