The staff were super friendly, and it was easy to find cafes and a grocery store on foot. The hotel is across from an outdoor pool, which was handy for cooling off on hot days. It was beautiful and very clean for the price, and breakfast was delicious.

It should be made clear when booking that the place has no staff on site, so guests can decide with that in mind. Having nobody around was unsettling at night, since anyone could come in and there was no security, and frustrating during the day when even simple requests went unanswered. The virtual check-in was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Breakfast was put together by temporary staff, and they spoke neither English nor French. The restaurant had closed after the change in ownership, despite the information I’d received when booking. I was surprised to find that reception was handled remotely, though check-in itself was efficient.

That restaurant was amazing, with fresh, beautifully presented food that tasted wonderful. The staff were all friendly and really helpful, and the location worked perfectly for my visit. The rooms are pretty substandard, though, and Wi-Fi doesn’t reach far from reception. I’d stay again while working in the area if the rooms were upgraded.

I stayed one night before a meeting the next day. The welcome was warm, the room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The food was excellent too, so five stars for the chef. Highly recommended.
