ibis budget Lugano Paradiso

We stayed nine nights, and the rooms were just about right for two people exploring the city. They're not huge, but they're perfectly clean, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the location is very central. Breakfast was fresh and really good. Even when the hotel was full, the friendly staff kept everything organized. Parking underneath is safe and convenient, though it isn't cheap.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good, though I missed having cream cheese like Philadelphia. We had the basics we needed in the room, and it was clean, but with a baby crib and stroller there wasn't much room to move. Next time we'd choose a larger room. Without the baby gear, it would be a basic but adequate room. The location was great, with a beautiful 20-minute walk along the lake to the city center.

The room felt cramped, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. I also found the front desk service unprofessional and inconsistent. Some guests seemed to get noticeably warmer treatment than others, which was disappointing. For the price, the stay didn’t feel welcoming or worthwhile. I hope management works on staff training and the guest experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, friendly, and well located, with the lake at one corner and the railway station and supermarket about a five-minute walk away. Our room had compact but practical furnishings, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
