Berghaus Diavolezza

We couldn't continue our stay after my sister became seriously unwell soon after we arrived at the property at altitude. Her pain got much worse very quickly, and we had reason to think she might have broken ribs, possibly because of the pressure change. She needed urgent medical care. Even after we explained how serious the situation was, management would not cancel the booking or refund any of the cost. They expected us to pay the full amount. For a place in the mountains, I would have expected some understanding that altitude can affect people's health. The response felt completely rigid and lacking in compassion during a frightening situation. I'd urge anyone who values flexibility and basic care to think carefully before booking.

The view and service with the hot pot were fantastic. You can rent it whether you're staying there or visiting from elsewhere, and they bring fresh fruit, water, towels, and a bathrobe. It gets really hot!

The fondue was delicious, and the staff were very helpful. It's a pretty nice restaurant, especially considering how high up it is.

We had lunch here in March and really enjoyed it. The sunny terrace has a lovely view, and the Gletscherfondue was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. We weren't staying at the hotel.
