The setting is lovely, with the train station close by and St. Moritz easy to get to. I really enjoyed the wellness area, too. The rooms were great, everything looked new and was carefully kept up, and the staff were so friendly. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I hope I get to come back.

The saunas and steam room were just right for unwinding after a day out, and the team was quick to shuttle us to the train station while we were juggling all our bags. Sunstar Pontresina is handy for getting around Pontresina and the surrounding area by train or bus. The hotel was clean and well looked after, with a warm, relaxed feel and modern touches alongside its cozy mountain character. Dinner was the highlight for me: beautifully prepared, high-quality food and a lovely meal all around. I had a wonderful stay, and would definitely recommend Sunstar Pontresina to anyone visiting the region.

Really friendly, helpful staff, thanks again! The wellness area is small, but it has 3 saunas and is very clean, so it worked perfectly for a daily visit. The double rooms are cozy for a few nights, with somewhere to sit, tea, and plenty of storage. It’s a great new hotel, with furniture and fittings that feel nicely high quality. :)

It’s become my favourite place in Engadin. The concept feels quite different from a mainstream hotel, and I spent several days there feeling right at home. Everyone was very kind, from reception through to the restaurant staff.

The terrace has such a peaceful view, lovely for a quiet coffee or matcha. I’m here quite often and, honestly, it’s always lovely. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything feels warm, easy, and well looked after. I’d love to come back! 🌞
