Hôtel Le Terminus

The service was brilliant, both warm and spot on, which isn’t something you can take for granted. My wife and I had dinner at the "Terminus" in Porrentruy tonight, and we had a wonderful time. We’re quite picky about food and service, thanks to our swiss-french culture. The menu is small, a good sign, and thoughtfully put together. They serve typical French and local cuisine, with carefully prepared, beautifully presented dishes. The "terminus" is a brilliant restaurant in Porrentruy and clearly among the best cuisine available in Switzerland. We’re already looking forward to staying around here again so we can eat there.

The restaurant at the hotel was very nice, with excellent food and service. They struggled a little with English, but we always managed to come to an agreement. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean. It’s a decent hotel, 200m from the local train station, just across the road.

The staff were very nice, but nothing about the hotel stood out. I’ve stayed in much better three-star hotels. English should be required for everyone working at reception.
