Hotel Posta

I was really impressed. The hotel is very nice, the hospitality is good, and the restaurant food tastes fantastic. Thanks!

We ate well this year, but the portions were noticeably smaller than before. We were there during chestnut season, and although posters advertised the event before October 12, 2025, the server subsidiary couldn’t tell us what was being offered. The season was nearly over, but we still expected more presence, attention and focus from the server subsidiary. We hope they have a good rest and do better next season. Our friends from the region had invited us for dinner here in 2024, when the service and food were wonderful.

The restaurant is quite good, but the hotel feels excessively expensive for what it offers. Its location is convenient, along the road beside the Bernina Express railway and just a few hundred metres from the station, and there’s parking. Breakfast has a good range of sweet and savoury foods, as well as fruit. The rooms are simple, with a very dated bathroom. It also gets far too hot in the room, so we turned down the radiators and sometimes opened the window a little.

The owners were incredibly kind, especially with our children. At dinner they brought wooden toys to keep the kids occupied, a small gesture that really made a difference with three children on holiday. The hotel was clean and excellent value for money. We stayed with our family in January 2026, and the location was perfect for the Bernina Express, just a three-minute walk from the station.
