The views were priceless, whether from our room, the balcony chair, or the restaurant. The hotel is traditional and very cozy, though not the most modern, and it's conveniently located by the Pontresina to Tirano road. You can come by car or bus, with the stop just 50m uphill. It's handy for an overnight stop or a meal while passing through, and for mountain hikes like Val da Camp. We had a late evening check-in, but the host kindly met us outside, showed us where to park, and prepared drinks in the bar/restaurant. We felt welcome and chatted with the host at breakfast and dinner, and later on the sunny terrace before leaving. Our room and bathroom had everything we needed and were very clean. Breakfast was served at the table, with plenty of variety, and the staff kept checking if we wanted anything else. Dinner options were tasty too. We stayed at the end of July 2024 and will definitely come back.

We were just driving past and feeling hungry when we spotted this beautiful hotel and restaurant. Mamma Mia, the Italian food was the most delicious we had in Switzerland, and the views were gorgeous too. The hospitality was great, and I loved chatting with the owner. We'll be back soon and stay here next time.

Brilliant views, and the staff were friendly and very service oriented. The hotel is nice, with clean, well-maintained rooms, though the interior is a bit dated. The beds weren't especially pampering, but they were comfortable.

Renzo is a wonderful, kind host. It's a great hotel in Sfazu, whether you're there for hikes or remote home office. In winter, kids can ski on the lovely little hill right in front.
