The mountains and meadows around Altanca, high above the valley at about 1,400m, made us wish we could stay longer. We only booked this cozy little apartment for one night on our way home from Italy, looking for somewhere affordable and convenient, and were surprised by how much we loved it. It was clean, full of character, and well equipped for us with our 6-year-old daughter and 9-Month-old baby. Ettore was friendly and helpful from the first message, and greeted us himself when we arrived. We felt so welcome. If we can make it work next year, we’d love to return for more than a stopover. Highly recommend!

The chalet is lovely, with beautiful mountain scenery all around. The owners were very friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. I’d absolutely recommend it.

Ettore made us feel at home right away, greeting us in person and showing us around. He also shared helpful tips during our stay, and communication beforehand was excellent. We stayed in the ground-floor apartment, which had two bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen-living room. We’d happily come back anytime.

I usually wait until after a stay to leave a review, but this time I wanted to write one right away. The room was rustic and romantic, and the house had a kitchen and dining room. Breakfast was complimentary, the mountain village was beautiful, and the drive up was breathtaking. The hosts were so friendly, especially the owner. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
