Definitely not a star-worthy hotel. It was really, really dirty, and five rooms had to share just one bathroom on the floor. I’d gladly drive ten hours farther than stay there again.

Never again. It was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen, dirty and old, with only one bathroom for all the rooms. It’s not even one star.

We felt very comfortable here. The hosts are fantastic, and the menus are delicious soul food, though definitely not low in calories. We’ll make a point of eating here regularly on our way home, especially if traffic is backed up.

We stopped for a white wine and coffee and the woman running the bar greeted us warmly. The place was very clean and tidy. She happened to know Mrs. Bossi Pia from Bruzella, which led to a lovely chat. Thanks, and best wishes for a wonderful, happy New Year.
