We stopped for the night to break up our drive and found a lovely, cozy hotel in the valley. The owners were warm and helpful, with advice about the region. The hotel has everything we needed, is clean and well equipped, and has been newly renovated. The beds were so comfortable we slept like babies after a day in the car. Staff were wonderful. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious. There's parking right in front. It would have been nice to stay longer, so we'll plan another trip. Whether you're passing through or here for walking, hiking, cycling, motorcycling, or skiing, it's a great base. We'd recommend it and will be back.

We enjoyed our second stay here. The hotel is comfortable and nicely renovated, and the food is reasonably priced with a good selection. The homemade custard square was tasty and generously sized. The only small drawback was the shower curtain, since water tends to get everywhere.

The portions were generous and the food quality really impressed us at dinner. We had the Lamm Entrecôte and Schweineschnitzel mit Pilzrahmsauce und Nudeln, with a whole bowl of noodles served on the side. Both dishes were delicious, and the Entrecôte was among the best meat dishes I've had at a restaurant. A great meal, highly recommend.

We were staying at the stellaplatz across the road and called in for dinner. The waitresses were incredibly helpful and friendly, and spoke English since my German is only about ten words. Our food came quickly, hot, and in generous portions. It was very good, and I'd suggest people visiting the area eat here.

This newly renovated, family-run hotel has lovely rooms, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV with lots of English and other language channels through Swisscom Blue TV. The owners and staff are all friendly and welcoming, and we loved the food. There's easy, free parking if you're arriving by car. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the Goms area in Vallis.
