Royal Swiss Apartments

We were six in the family and stayed three nights. The kitchen had what we needed to make our own meals, and the bus stop right beside the building made getting around convenient, even though the apartment isn't near Interlaken Ost. Check-in was all by email and easy. I missed the access code in the email, but called the number at the entrance and got it sorted quickly. We took our trash out at checkout so it wouldn't leave a smell. I'd recommend staying here as a base for exploring the attractions nearby.

We liked the apartment and had a great time during our stay. It had two double beds, two single beds, a dining table, sofa, TV, fans, basic kitchen utensils, a microwave and a dishwasher. There were two bathrooms and a balcony looking out over lake breinz, the mountains and castle. The pizzeria, restaurant and grocery store are only a few steps away, and it's easy to get to Interlaken Ost for onward travel. The bus stop is also just steps away, with the boat port and train station a few metres from there. At night, we could hear people walking around upstairs, and church bells came through when the windows were open.

The place is clean and comfy, with a great location and view, and it can fit up to 12 people. The dishwasher was broken, but that wasn't a big deal. The church bells rang every 15 minutes and woke us at night. Closing the windows and turning on the fans helped.

We found the host especially attentive and available whenever we needed help or information. The apartment has the essentials, and the mountain scenery is lovely. Interlaken Ost is a 5-10 minute bus ride away, with the stop only steps from the apartment. We had a pleasant five-night stay at the Royal Swiss apartments and would highly recommend them for a relaxed, comfortable visit to Interlaken.
