We had a really pleasant stay in this proper Swiss guesthouse. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were so helpful, with outstanding service. It’s also easy to get into Lucerne, since the hotel is close by and there’s a train station nearby. Just be aware that the upper floors have no air conditioning, so the rooms can get pretty warm on hot days and may feel uncomfortable.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the restaurant staff were really friendly. Breakfast was perfect, too. At night, though, you can hear what’s happening on the floor and in other rooms, including washing, so bring earplugs or be a very deep sleeper 😴.

The mountains around here make for an amazing view. A great place to stay, with very friendly staff.

The location didn’t stand out, and breakfast felt quite limited. The room got so hot I could have fried an egg in it, so I wouldn’t recommend coming in summer. They also blamed energy saving for not providing a minibar, which was a bad excuse.

A lovely spot for a quiet evening and a tasty dinner. The beef tartare was really good 🙂, and the terrace felt cosy with beautiful trees outside.
