Villa Grazia, Bed & Breakfast

The location is nice, breakfast is good, and the bathroom is shared.

I’ve never had such an absurd experience, and both hotel.it and "Villa Grazia" handled it poorly. On March 2nd, I accidentally booked a room for the following week. I realized the same day and called the hotel to apologize and explain that I’d meant to book March 3rd-5th, asking whether they could move the room. The hotel was due to close for a week on Monday, March 4th, and they apologized and said changing it wasn’t possible. I then asked to cancel, and they later confirmed the cancellation by email. Even though I gave a very long notice, the hotel still tried to charge the full amount to my credit card. They only contacted me later to say they hadn’t managed to deduct it. I tried to discuss the cancellation fee with the concierge and explained that hotel.it’s website said I could cancel for free. When I contacted hotel.it, they said cancellation was free only until February 8th. I pointed out that this couldn’t apply, since I had booked on March 2nd. Despite my attempts to sort it out, the hotel is demanding an absurd penalty, especially given that the room was booked again shortly afterward.

The host was very accommodating, everything went smoothly, and there were lovely little touches in this slightly older house. I felt very comfortable, and the value for money was excellent. The breakfast was unbeatable, and the wide selection of DVDs was a great bonus. Thank you!

We arrived in a hurry at nearly midnight, and the host was very welcoming. There are free Blu-ray movies, and the food was delicious too :)
