We had a really calm meal on the lovely terrace, with nice decor. The fondue was super tasty and came in a large portion. The food looked great and tasted good, though the menu is very limited, with only a few choices, which seems typical for Switzerland. Prices are high but typical for the country, around 30 CHF per plate. The setting is amazing even though Romont is small, and everyone was polite. Service was a bit slow, and the workers seemed very young and inexperienced, but they were sweet. It’s a clean, really nice Swiss restaurant, and one of the best I’ve visited after eating at many places across the country.

We were able to store our bikes in the garage, and the breakfast and food were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also got a free upgrade to a spacious room or apartment with a kitchen and spa bath tub. It’s a great spot in the heart of the old town. I’d stay again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed eating at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious dish after dish, with superb, consistent quality, and the service was warm and friendly. The small hotel has a charming feel, with clean, comfortable rooms in a minimalist style. I loved the fresh smell in the room. Highly recommended if you’re ever in Romont.

Even though I arrived in the evening without a reservation, the waitress and hostess were kind and quick to help. I had the restaurant’s recommended full-course dinner and loved it. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared and delicious. There was plenty of choice for drinks, and the wine was terrific and inexpensive. A lovely way to finish my time in Romont as a Swiss army recruit. I can’t wait to come back with friends or family.

Romont’s Vitromusée is a great museum, and abbeys and churches with beautiful stained glass windows are within walking distance. It’s a very nice place to stay if you want to hike the Stained Glass Window Trail (Sentier du vitrail).
