IntercityHotel Zurich Airport

The double spring mattress wasn't insulated properly in some places, so movement on one side shook the other person awake. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep well. The hotel itself was very clean, quiet, and intimate, with the necessary things, an excellent breakfast, and courteous reception service.

We gave it 8 out of 10. I didn't park at the hotel because CHF 25,- per day was much more than at other hotels we'd visited in Zürich. My 15-year-old son's only complaint was the bathroom glass. He wished there were a full curtain, since it's only half see-through and, with the lights on, someone visiting with you who's not your partner can see a bit of you. Window foil could easily fix it, though the natural light from the window is nice. The room was a good size, breakfast was good, and we heard no airport noise even with the window open at night. At the Ibis airport hotel last May, planes were so loud that we nearly trembled out of bed. We arrived a bit early and Amy P. welcomed us warmly, gave us our key, and let us park outside for an hour while our friend finished work at the airport. Special thanks to Amy for her help after a nine-hour night drive with my son. We'll stay at the Inner City hotel on our next visit.

Amy made our stay fantastic. Her upbeat attitude and attention to detail really stood out, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was right for us. The hotel is lucky to have her!

After a long trip, we were welcomed so warmly that it felt like home. It's a lovely, cozy place, and the rooms are super clean and well equipped. Hotel service can feel much the same everywhere, but the hospitality here went well beyond what we expected. A special thank you to mr Daniel, who looked after us from the greeting right through to a nice checkout. We hope to come back soon :))))
