We got a warm welcome, and dinner was simple but good for the price. The room had a humidity problem, though, and the breakfast waitress was really rude.

I recently stayed at the hotel with a group. It's cozy, the staff are friendly, and the food is good. There are enough choices for people who can't eat everything because of an allergy, diet, or intolerance. The wifi was poor in most of the hotel. It worked well in the lobby near reception and in rooms above those areas, but in the dining room and other rooms there was barely any signal. I was in room 27, which was nice, but some light switches did nothing, the bedside wall lamp had no bulb, and there was no TV remote. In the bathroom, both lights above the mirror were out. One was hanging by its wires. If it fell, I'm sure it would shatter or badly damage the glass plate below the mirror, and probably damage the sink too. I'm taking off two stars for these issues.

The location is good, but service really needs to improve. The hotel itself is very basic.
