Montela Apartment - Hotel & Resort - Premium Stay

The apartment was very clean and well equipped, and the staff were so helpful and nice. Check-in instructions were very clear. It’s within walking distance of the center of Saas grund village. I’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Saas grund and the surrounding villages.

The ski room was spacious, with its own locker and a heated, ventilated rack for ski boots. The apartments are modern, nicely furnished and decorated, with good soundproofing and comfortable beds. All the staff were excellent and very helpful, and it really felt like home. We stayed for a week around Easter. The end-of-season price was very good. It’s worth booking directly and emailing to ask about offers. The apartments are in SG, with an easy 10-15 minute bus ride to SaasFee. Looking forward to coming back next season.

The only things we weren’t happy with were the mattresses and pillows, which we found uncomfortable. The double bed was made up of two separate mattresses, leaving quite a wide gap. Apart from that, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back. The apartment was spacious and clean, with lots of storage, a well-equipped kitchen and a large, comfortable bathroom. We also appreciated the welcome set with oil, salt, coffee and other basics. There’s a big, well-kept indoor play area for kids, plus toys by the building entrance that you can take up to the apartment. That was a lovely touch.

The premium stay included an incredible breakfast delivered to the room. Most of it was in the fridge when we arrived, and each morning we could choose complimentary fresh cold or hot items the night before. There’s also a large playroom for kids up to 12 and a ski room with lockers and a boot dryer. The staff were very friendly, and the modern apartment had everything we needed. The ski shuttle bus stop for the Saas fee ski terminal is only a few meters away and runs every 15 minutes. The ride takes about 15 minutes, and since the house is near the start of the route, there was no problem getting a seat. It’s free for guests. There’s free parking by the house, and Coop and Denner are two minutes away by car or bus. Already planning to return. Thanks for the experience.
