The team are so helpful and welcoming, and made us feel at home. Everything was clean. I’d definitely recommend staying here to a friend.

From our room, we could see the church tower and mountains. The rooms were beautiful, the hotel very clean, and the food was excellent and nicely presented. The town has a long history of making typewriters, cameras, record players and music boxes, and its museums are fascinating. The hotel displays typewriters and locally made absinthe. While we were there, the owners hosted a delightful event with presentations about Automatons made in the area. The service was excellent.

We had fish and vegetables for lunch today, beautifully served with a smile, and the food here is local and varied. Our large room, 202, was quiet and had a splendid view down the street towards the mountains, as you can see in the photo. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well.

It reminded me a lot of ‘The Overlook,’ if you know what I mean. One of the most unique hotel stays I’ve had. I’d love to stay there again someday.

I’ve stayed here many times, and it’s a wonderfully peaceful spot. The owners are just the right people to run the hotel. Highly recommend it!
