The family-run feel and easy ski access made this a hard place to fault. They drove us to the lifts in the morning, so we got straight onto the slopes without waiting around. Our apartment was spotless and had a properly equipped kitchen, and the breakfast buffet featured good local products. There’s a nice sauna in the house, and dinner is worth having if they’re making capuns. You can also walk into town in about 20 minutes or take the bus. A really good Garni in Ravaisch, Samnaun, better than many hotels there.

Our flight was canceled because of the weather, so we arrived a day later than planned. To our surprise, they didn’t charge us for the night we missed. We’d booked a four-night stay and had warned them we’d arrive extremely late, which they accepted without any trouble. Everything was perfect, and I’d definitely stay here again. God bless them.

We felt very at home at Hotel/Garni Alvetern and will definitely return. The hosts were always there with help and advice. Breakfast was generous, dinner was a culinary highlight, and the lifts were easy to reach with the convenient transfers. Samnaun’s ski opening is always a lovely experience, and staying here made it even better.

Everything was spotless and easygoing, and they even let us have the sauna to ourselves. This was our first stay at the lovely, family-run hotel, and the friendly welcome made it a great one. Breakfast was very generous, and although the station was only a short walk away, they drove us there. We’d gladly recommend this little hotel.
