Hotel 2B

The hotel is right in the center of town, though a bit far from the train station. We had a really good time here. Our room was very nice and cozy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. A really pleasant place to stay.

The rooms are spacious and stylish, and you’ll find a Nespresso machine in yours. The reception is in the Mexican-style restaurant below, where the service was good. We also got a free parking ticket that was valid until 11am, and paid public parking is available. Right in the center of Schaffhausen, it offers a good price-to-quality ratio.

The rooms were very clean, and the rates are quite economical. It’s right in the city center and very close to the train station. The facilities are very good, too. Just note that they accept Swiss francs for payment. If you pay in euros, you have to pay the same amount.

The hotel is right next to the museum. Parking was free from Saturday night into Sunday, though finding a spot could be difficult. The room has a rustic look, including a dimmable main light, but the bare reading light was too much for me. The socket for the lamp on my side was unreliable and needed adjusting if it got knocked. There were saucers but no coffee cups, so I had to get some from the restaurant and reception. The bathroom fan was strong but louder than necessary, and the filter was clogged with buildup. I cleared some of it to improve the airflow.
