I’m sure I’ll stay here again on the way to Tuscany, thanks to its handy central position along the route. It’s a tidy apartment in a beautiful setting, and the view really is breathtaking, just like the property’s name says. The owners were lovely and spoke English very well.

We spent two lovely days here even with the rain. The garden gave us a chance to spot hares and deer, and the view over Lake Lauerz was sensational. We got a friendly, helpful welcome. The place is simply furnished, but had everything we needed.
