Ferienwohnung Bijou

Krindenhof is a quiet, secluded complex of two buildings just outside the hamlet of Ringoldswil, with more holiday homes in the other building. It's surrounded by forests and meadows full of wildlife, including deer, hares, foxes, and birds of prey. The owners are welcoming and hospitable. There's a washing machine for a fee, which is handy for a longer stay. Our holiday home was on the top floor of a traditional Bernese-style wooden building. It had two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom with a bath and toilet, a living room with a sofa, kitchenette and dining table, plus a balcony with stunning views of Lake Thun and the mountains. The complex is reached by a narrow, winding mountain road. From there, it's a short five-minute walk to a viewing hill with an even more spectacular panorama of the Bernese Alps and the lake.
