The river view was beautiful, and waking up to that peaceful scenery was a real treat. We spent two nights in a suite at the H4 Hotel in Solothurn with three adults. Staff were polite and professional, and the receptionist who checked us in on the first day was especially kind and welcoming. There were a few things that could be improved. We ordered breakfast using the door card, but it was missed the next morning and we had to call reception to request it. Once it arrived, it didn’t feel worth the price. CHF 28 for two bottles of water, including the service charge, also seemed unreasonable. Cleaning wasn’t very thorough, and the room hadn’t been properly set up for a third person when we arrived, so we had to ask for extra items. The lunch menu didn’t appeal to us, so we ordered food from outside. It was a nice stay with a great view, but the service didn’t match the price.

The drinks were amazing and the food was great. Robert was very kind, and Mansour was lovely too. Solomon gave fantastic service. We came all the way from Geneva today after hearing so many good things about the H4 hotel and its awesome bar. Would absolutely recommend it, 10/10!

Erblina at reception made the trip especially enjoyable. She was so friendly and helpful, and pointed me toward great bars and restaurants just across the bridge, an easy walk that made exploring the city a pleasure. I also loved the rooftop bar. It was my first visit to Solothurn, and I had an incredible stay at this hotel. Looking forward to coming back on future visits!

Robert makes what I think are the best cocktails in the region, and the service from him and Solomon is top notch. They pay close attention to detail and really care about customer satisfaction. The top-floor bar is the hotel’s highlight, and I highly recommend it. Ask Robert for his best Gins, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m grateful to the management and staff of H4 Hotel Solothurn for their warm welcome and great cooperation during our stay. They were professional and flexible, especially when dealing with last-minute changes, which helped our visit go smoothly. Service was excellent, replies came quickly, and communication was clear and courteous. I especially appreciated their understanding and transparency in sorting out financial matters. I highly recommend the hotel for a comfortable stay with refined service in a welcoming, respectful atmosphere.
