We spent two nights here and were really pleased we chose it. The family who runs the place made us feel welcome, and everything was very clean. I also appreciated the ecological approach and all the thoughtful little details. The food was excellent, and they could adapt the menu for vegan meals or food intolerances. They paid close attention to the Covid rules, too. We’d recommend it. I only wished there were a small minibar in the room to keep a few drinks cold.

The views over the surrounding landscape are lovely, and the hotel sits on a peaceful Swiss hillside near St Gallen and Arbon. It was quiet and a good spot for a restful stay. I visited in spring, though the weather was a bit cold and rainy. The hotel was decent, breakfast was good, and the staff were kind.

Our large cycling group was well looked after by the hosts, who clearly put in a lot of effort to make us happy. It’s a lovely little hotel, and I’d gladly stay again.
