IIP Apartments - Self Check In

The apartment was nice and the location was great. The staff were very helpful. My mobile was giving me trouble, so they kindly gave me a plastic card to get into the apartment.

Check-in staff were amazing and very helpful, with guides and instructions about the hotel and things to watch out for. I do wish there were an on-site reception or someone there, though. We needed help fixing the WiFi, opening the windows, and using the appliances, and there wasn't a desk to go ask.

The rooms are new and nice, and the location was great for a room at the back of the building. There was a washing machine and dryer on the floor, which was convenient. The kitchen could be good with the right utensils, but we were missing cups and had only two juice glasses, two small and two large plates, and two bowls. There were enough pots and pans, though no knives at first. The room was stuffy because the air-conditioning didn't work. There was only a tiny slit at the side of the window for fresh air, though we later got a fan. The WiFi also didn't work, so we had to use our own very expensive world SIM. Apparently the WiFi was “overloaded.” Check-in was terrible, and other guests were struggling too. The fridge was good and spacious enough.

The apartment is furnished to a very nice standard. Getting inside the building in the evening was difficult because the instructions weren't clear. We couldn't find out how to get out-of-hours support until we'd got into the block. It also wasn't clear that we could park in the car park and take the lift up with the digital room key. The main problem was the heat. The air conditioning wasn't effective, and the room was too hot to stay in. We were there during a heatwave, so it might be fine in winter, but residents in the block told us those high temperatures were normal. The WiFi connection information was wrong too, and there was no guide or help information in the room. I'd strongly recommend adding one once the temperature in the rooms and shared areas is fixed.
