We paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room, but the room we got looked nothing like the photos on the hotel's website. At the front desk, I was told it was deluxe because their deluxe rooms have king beds, while standard rooms have two twins pushed together. But our bed was definitely two twin beds pushed together. You can compare the room they gave us in the photos with the pictures on their own site.

The room was tidy and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is close to the lake, a supermarket, and the city center; the bus from St. Moritz train station takes about 10 minutes and stops right outside. I made a date mistake when booking through a travel app, and only noticed shortly before the stay. The booking couldn't be refunded or rescheduled, but when I called the hotel they kindly offered a room for the correct date without charging extra. They even upgraded my room. Thanks for such great service!

The Bernina train ride was the most beautiful part of my trip to st.moritz, and I really liked it. The hotel service was great too. At lunch at riccardos, the service was good, but we ordered two chesse fondues and only got one. Still, it was a great experience.

I travel a lot, and this was one of my worst hotel stays. Noise and basic comfort were abysmal, though I wasn't expecting luxury at this price. I could hear everything through the walls and floors. My room seemed to be over the trash area or kitchen, with banging and thumping throughout the day. Loud deliveries or staff arriving at 5 a.m. woke me up. There wasn't even a way to make coffee or boil water in the room. A deeply unpleasant stay.
