Hotel Adler

The rooms are spacious, clean, and laid out well, and breakfast is outstanding. It’s a really good location. For travelers from the US, this area and hotel are a hidden gem. It’s easy to get here from Zurich, and the locals are very friendly.

Our room at Hotel Adler was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is well maintained, right in the heart of the old town. We were welcomed so warmly by Volkmar and Silvia, who made the stay feel like being at home. We recently stayed in the charming town of Stein am Rhein and had a truly memorable time. We’re grateful for their kindness and hospitality, and hope to return soon. I’d highly recommend Hotel Adler to anyone visiting Stein am Rhein.

Silvia and Volkmar made us feel completely welcome and appreciated. They’re truly lovely people. The hotel has been nicely done, apparently renovated in recent years, and our cosy room had a very well equipped bathroom. Check-in was smooth and painless. We chose it for its nice look and central location while visiting the Christmas Market and medieval artisan market. We’ll be back in Stein am Rhein and will book at the Adler again. I’d highly recommend it, and would give more than five stars if I could.

The hotel was very clean and centrally located, and our bikes were kept in a safe, secure garage. The husband and wife who own it were hospitable and helped answer our questions about the area. This was the second stop for my wife and me with our Westcoast Canadian cycling group. Breakfast didn’t have the biggest selection, but it was more than enough to fuel us for the next ride around Lake Constance.
