The pool area, both indoors and out, was a real highlight, and breakfast was good. We also had a big room and could walk to some good places to eat. There were drawbacks, though: no air conditioning anywhere, and the bathroom felt small compared with the room. The king bed was two mattresses with a pad between them. The sauna signs say you have to be nude.

We got good value compared with other places nearby. The room was clean, and the bed was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, especially the fresh fruit and make-your-own muesli bar, with a decent range of other options too. During our one-night stay we managed to use the spa twice, including after checking out.

The hotel surroundings aren't especially inspiring, though the pool and sauna facilities are fine. Prices are high, as they are in much of Switzerland, and breakfast was a little basic. On a hot day, the lack of air conditioning is a real problem. Even with the fan on full and the windows wide open, we couldn't get the room below 28 degrees.

Breakfast was basic, but there was plenty of what we needed. The pool and sauna were clean and working well, and we enjoyed using them. Our room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station.

A small hotel with fewer crowds, and it felt worth the money. There's free parking, plus childcare for little kids and a play area. The sauna, parlour, spa and pool are nice, and the food was good and healthy. In summer, they only have an air cooler.
