Away from everyday distractions, I could leave my worries behind and just relax among the animals and nature. Château de Marnand is unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed. There’s land for growing food and keeping livestock, and meals can be made entirely from ingredients produced on the grounds. Luca also shared stories about the region, its heritage, and the many antiques in the castle. The owners are warm and happy to tailor the stay to what you want. It’s a vintage getaway with modern conveniences, and I can’t wait to return 😄

The hosts, Luca and Ludmila, made the château feel like home with their warmth and care. I especially enjoyed the fresh, local farm-to-table meals, both breakfast and dinner were amazing. The rooms are cozy and elegant, and the restoration is beautiful. From the moment I arrived, it felt like a peaceful break from everyday hustle and bustle. One of the most unique stays I’ve had in Switzerland, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it 😍

Seeing all the animals made the weekend feel magical, chickens, cows, horses, donkeys, and pigs. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, and breakfast was divine in a warm, family-like setting. The passionate owners have magnificently restored Marnand Castle, and they’re engaging too. I’m already looking forward to another stay with Luca and Ludmila. See you soon! 😘

The sunsets from the castle heights are often spectacular. With its authentic architecture and history, the place has real character, and the natural setting is peaceful. Everything is very well maintained, and the atmosphere feels calm and soothing. A lovely countryside escape when you want to recharge away from the noise and bustle.

The welcome was lovely, thanks to both the owners’ kindness and the beauty of the place. Booking through their website was quick and easy, and there are several themed rooms to choose from. We loved our stay at the château. I highly recommend the Empire room, absolutely gorgeous ❤
