Lake Geneva Hotel

The transport links are superb and easy to use, and there’s a Coop and Aldi, a chemist, and a lovely Patisserie within a 30-second walk. The hotel is clean, pleasant, and very well kept, with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are modern and clean, and both the lakeside and side views give you a great look at Lake Geneva.

I loved staying here. The breakfasts were delicious, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The rooms are stylish and beautiful, with a breathtaking view. You can feel how much care has gone into the details for guests. I’ll definitely come back!

The extra bed for my son was very cheap, with a hard mattress that left his back hurting all day. When I raised it, they said there were no other beds, and they couldn’t add another mattress either. They still charged me 40 CHK per night for it. The rooms don’t even have a basic fridge. Customer service really surprised me, and not in a good way. The staff weren’t friendly, there were no facilities like a gym or pool, and they told me I could use the gym next door for 15 euros. They also refused to provide complimentary drinking water, which I’d expect from a four-star hotel. At best, I’d give it three stars. One of my worst hotel experiences. The value for money is nil. Don’t go.

The staff were very nice, and the lakeside location is beautiful. But there’s no air conditioning, and the shower water runs onto the bathroom floor. Planes coming into the airport fly right over the hotel and are quite loud until midnight when the windows are open, which you need with no AC.
