Base Vevey

Easy to check in and out, a friendly welcome, and everything was super clean. Even the smallest room felt spacious, with well-furnished rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and a great shower. Really handy for the train station. 100% satisfied.

For my short work trip to Vevey, this was a great place to stay. It's close to the town center, lake, and station, so getting around on foot was easy. My room was airy, clean, and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and even a dishwasher. There's also a gym, sauna, bar, meeting rooms, and a rooftop terrace for guests. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I needed plug adapters and somewhere to leave my bags for a few hours. I'd definitely stay again.

The rooftop veranda was a highlight for us. It has a lovely view of the Lake, and we enjoyed watching the sunsets there at night. The hotel is right across from the train station, and it's a short walk to Downtown Vevey and the Lake. We stayed four nights in late August/early September after a last-minute change to our plans near Lac Leman (Lake Geneva). We found Base Vevey online because of its good reviews, and they lived up to them. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were amazingly clean, which mattered to me as I'm picky. The amenities covered what we needed. There weren't any face cloths, just hand and bath towels. This is an apartment/hotel, with a little kitchenette in each room: mini fridge, sink, dishwasher, plates, cups, and flatware, plus good storage. It's more of an upscale, all-purpose apartment hotel than a luxurious hotel. There are two washers and dryers if you need to do laundry. We'd definitely stay here again if we get the chance to visit Vevey.

The room was compact but clean and modern, and there's an elevator, which is useful with luggage. It's a small hotel near Vevey train station, with really nice, helpful staff at check-in and checkout. We visited during the Christmas season and appreciated the little bag of goodies they gave us.
