We had a pleasant stay, and the view outside the hotel was good. The owner was very kind and even drove us to visp station, which meant we caught the train to locarno on time. The other staff were courteous too. Our room was very good, though it was quite warm inside. There’s no elevator, but the owner helped carry our luggage to the room. Breakfast options were limited, but when we asked, they gave us an egg. There was also a mini kitchen in the room where we could boil it.

The restaurant was a highlight for us. The wild boar and duck were both excellent, fresh, flavourful, and skillfully prepared. The hotel was comfortable and spotless, clearly cared for with dedication. The husband and wife who own it were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive from the moment we arrived, always ready to help. Their hospitality made the trip feel even more special. We’re grateful for the experience, would happily return, and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and great service. Thank you both!

We’d driven past so many times thinking we should give it a try, and finally did today. Wish we’d come sooner! Good choice, with traditional Swiss food and a bit of flair, plus good vegetarian options. We’ll definitely be back for the tapas or grill.
