After a long hike from Ziegelbrücke on our way to Palfries, we stayed the night at the Löwen and had dinner there too. Ramona welcomed us so warmly that we felt comfortable from the start, and Stefan cooked an incredible meal that made us feel as if we were high above the Churfirsten mountains, close to heaven. Our room was large, clean and inviting. We’d booked dinner at short notice, quite spontaneously, and it turned into a wonderful evening, both for the food and the company. Such a joy. We’ll be back. Thank you, Ramona and Stefan, for putting so much passion into what you do! 🙏🚀👍🥰

The breakfast selection was great, and the hostess was very friendly. It’s a charming little hotel in a 200-year-old building, with newly renovated rooms that are practical and VERY CLEAN! It’s centrally located near the train station. I’d gladly stay again.

I thought 70 francs was a bit much for what I got. My room was clean, but it was a single room without a shower, and there wasn’t any soap, toothbrush or other toiletries. Since the shower was shared, there was a bath towel by the sink. I didn’t have breakfast. The hostess was friendly, though a bit brusque. The floor was thin, so I could hear everything upstairs and downstairs.

The food was divine, and I haven’t felt this comfortable in a long time. Top, top, top!!! We were only there for dinner, so I can’t comment on the rooms.

Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. Our budget room didn’t have an en-suite bathroom, but that was fine for the price. The rooms were really great, and the service felt personal and friendly.
