The atmosphere was cosy and nice, but the Rösti was too oily and not crisp enough. The French fries were cheap and didn’t taste good. Tap water at 8.-!!!

We just had a simple dinner. The waitress was lovely, and the food seemed freshly made, but both dishes came with sauces that were far too salty.

A warm, comfortable, cosy Swiss mountain hotel, with a bar and restaurant serving hearty, delicious food. Especially nice on a snowy winter evening.

At 20h06 the restaurant still looked full, with some tables waiting for food, but they refused to serve us and the waiter said the kitchen was closed. The staff also made no effort at all to speak English. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Even in the offseason, we never felt forgotten. The quieter atmosphere meant the service was even more attentive, and the host and staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their personal touch and attention to detail really stood out. The meals were generous and delicious, with local flavors and good quality. This was a wonderful hotel stay during our trip to Switzerland. I highly recommend it for the warm welcome, great food, and service, and we’ll definitely come back on our next trip to Rigi.
