For what we paid, the location and breakfast were good. The facilities were very basic, though, and the rooms didn't even have slippers. To me, it felt more like a two-star hotel.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots of fresh, local, high-quality options served in a beautiful setting. We also liked the cozy bar and relaxing common areas. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, and our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a lovely view, luxurious amenities, and an incredibly comfortable bed. Hotel Schweizerhof has a central, convenient location surrounded by beautiful scenery. From the warm welcome to the elegant atmosphere and thoughtful details, the stay felt special and home-like. We'll absolutely return and highly recommend it for a memorable stay.

This is a review of the restaurant only. We went because it was the only place open at night. The flowers and music made for a nice atmosphere, but the pasta and pizza were very average and lacked flavor. The staff and service were okay. You can find much better food nearby, so I wouldn't recommend it.

The room was clean, and at least ours had a brand-new bathroom. Staff were polite, flexible, and accommodating, though some training is needed, especially behind the bar. The church chimes rang every 15 minutes and made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was average. The coffee was below average, and the tea wasn't how Brits like it.

There were cockroaches in my room!!! To me, this place didn't feel like a hotel at all. I absolutely wouldn't recommend staying here.
