Free parking right outside and an easy self check-in made arrival simple. Chalet Gafri was warm, modern, and rustic, with clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and blinds on every window so we slept well. Breakfast was fresh and high quality, and the owner and staff were friendly and helped us plan our winter trip. There’s no dinner service, but we could warm food in the kitchen. Good restaurants with parking are just 2-3 minutes away by car. Sledge tracks are nearby, and Grindelwald Eiger Express is about 20 minutes away. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm welcome and service. Highly recommend it.

Wilderswil has a peaceful, charming village feel, and Chalet Gafri has a lovely traditional Swiss countryside style. It’s also well placed for getting to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Wengen, and the Jungfrau region. A nice mix of quiet countryside and easy access to the mountain sights of the Bernese Oberland.

Gabi & Fritz made the stay feel more like visiting friends than booking a place. They were so kind and welcoming, and I felt right at home. The place itself was cozy, clean, and peaceful. I’d recommend it if you want a relaxing getaway with genuine hospitality. Thanks for a memorable stay. I’ll definitely come back if I visit Interlaken.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the included breakfast. Our room was clean and well furnished, with a mini fridge. The hotel is in a quiet but convenient spot, a short walk from either the bus stop or train station. We had a great stay.

We had luggage, and since the house sits a little uphill, they came to collect us from the bus station. The rooms were ready, and ours was big, with a wonderful shared kitchen. Breakfast was all arranged on time. The location and service were both amazing, and the whole stay felt like home. One of the highlights of our trip. If it’s available, book it, you won’t regret it.
