The setting was perfect for a lake beach holiday or a hike around Yvonand, and the time we spent there felt almost like a fairy tale. We booked Hotel de la Gare for just two nights, but wished the stay could have lasted much longer. The landlady was remarkable, full of energy and so welcoming, unlike anyone I'd met in service before. We also loved the restaurant dishes and getting to try new things from French cuisine. Many thanks to the cook. The whole atmosphere will stay in our memory, and we're looking forward to seeing you again. With regards, your Russian friends.

The in-house restaurant was excellent, and I had the best beef-Tatar I've ever tried there. The rooms, bed, bathroom, and breakfast were all good, and there's free parking. Simple, but perfectly fine, and a very good alternative to Yverdon.

A small, clean hotel in a peaceful spot, with friendly staff who speak English. Unfortunately, it's not wheelchair friendly. :(

Cozy and simple, with very good prices. The food was good, especially the salad, and the staff were friendly.
