I liked the room, and the kitchen was handy. There’s a quick checkout option too: drop your room card in the box and leave, which saves time if you have an early departure. It’s close to transport. The downside is the red light district location, which may not suit families or women traveling alone.

We were able to walk to the old town, and the residence is also easy to reach from the train and bus stations. We hadn’t known before arriving that the street becomes a red light district at night. It didn’t bother us, but we would have liked to know. The room was okay, the bed comfortable, and we used the kitchenette. The microwave didn’t heat well, which we would have appreciated being able to rely on. All in all, it was an okay choice and made our trip easier.

The room was small but looked clean and had a kitchen. Resting was difficult, though, because the street noise was so bad. Even on the fifth floor, I could hear every passing car and people talking loudly outside. The windows barely block any sound.

The staff at reception were warm and helpful, and check-in and checkout were simple. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of tasty choices that kept me going on some very cold mornings. I just wish I’d had more time to sit and eat. Thanks to everyone for making me feel at home. I expected a much smaller room, like ones I’ve had in other European cities, but there was plenty of space. My kitchenette had a microwave, kettle, and fridge, all very useful, and the bed and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Residence studio Geneve Centre had everything I needed. It’s a short walk from the main train station, about ten minutes from the Lake, even closer to some nice restaurants, and an easy walk into old-town for history, architecture, and plenty of life. The streets are easy to navigate. Definitely good value, and I look forward to coming back.
