Chalet Aeschhorn

We absolutely loved staying here. The apartment had a terrace and wonderful views of zermatt, and check-in was seamless. It’s central and very close to the station. Getting there means carrying your luggage up two flights of stairs, though it wasn’t too difficult. The kitchen had basic spices and oil, which made cooking easy.

We spent four nights in Zermatt and had a great stay. The one-bedroom apartment was in the basement and came with a terrace, though it gets shaded in the afternoon. Check-in was easy, and the dishwasher was a nice bonus. The apartment had everything we could want, except perhaps an oven. It’s up a steep hill or steps from the train station.

Gertrude was very helpful throughout our stay, and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed, including tools for making raclette and cheese fondue. The terrace had a spectacular view.

From the window at Chalet Aeschhorn, there’s a great view. The place was clean, well maintained, and well equipped, with guest wifi too. It’s also conveniently placed about a six-minute walk from the train station, main high street, old village, and the way to Matterhorn. I’d definitely recommend it.
